Contractor used it as a water line for fridge ice maker. Is it safe for drinking water?
Yes, it's rated for drinking water as it interacts with cooking utensils,silverware and dishes in a dishwasher environment. Has a rubber core for transporting the water. I've not tested it this way, so if taste is off, run 3-5 gallons of water through the fridge water dispenser. If that is not sufficient, pouring a couple cups of white vinegar through the (disconnected and water turned off) hose will clean everything up. Anythign else I can help with please let me know.
